Trong bữa chính, nếu con từ chối ăn thì các mẹ sẽ thực hiện quy tắc 3 cơ hội (hỏi con lần 1: “Con có ngồi ăn nghiêm túc không? Con ngồi ăn ngon miệng nhé” (Hoặc nói câu gì tùy các em nhưng ko được mang tính ép hay bắt buộc)

• Sau 3 cơ hội, nếu con vẫn không chịu ăn, hãy kết thúc bữa ăn của trẻ trong vui vẻ. Và nói cho con biết phải chờ tới bữa ăn kế tiếp mới được ăn lại (bỏ qua bữa phụ).
• Khi con từ chối ăn bữa chính đồng nghĩa với con cũng không được ăn bữa phụ.
Tuyệt đối không phục vụ bất cứ thức ăn nào cho con như sữa, bánh, hoa quả…
Không có đứa nào nó đói đến ngất đi cả, nó đói khác phải kêu mẹ cho ăn. Đừng thương con mà cho ăn bù bữa sau là hỏng việc. Lúc này con sẽ hiểu được kỷ luật bỏ đói là như thế nào, nên trong các bữa ăn con sẽ ăn uống nghiêm túc hơn.
